Terms Of Service
Deposits
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your photoshoot date and time. The remaining balance is due at the time of your session.
Location Costs & Fees
If there are any costs or fees associated with the location you have chosen for your session, you will be responsible for those fees. DLB Photography will not guarantee or arrange payment on any location.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
If an illness or situation prevents a photo session from taking place, you must notify DLB Photography at least 24 hours prior to your shoot to avoid penalty. Should you fail to give a 24 hour notice, or decide to completely cancel the shoot, the deposit is forfeited and will not be refunded.
DLB Photography reserves the right to reschedule due to illness, weather, equipment malfunction, or other circumstances beyond their control.
Re-Shoots
Re-shoots are determined at the discretion of DLB Photography. Re-shoots will not be given for poor choices of clothing, makeup, hair, weather related issues, or by not following the recommendations of DLB Photography.
Payments
All payments are due in full at the time of the session unless payment arrangements have been made. Photographs will not be processed until payment in full is received. If you have arranged a payment plan, your photographs will be processed after the final payment has been received.
Due to the custom nature of each session, all sales are final. Please be absolutely sure of your purchase at the time of ordering.
Image Archives
All images will be archived for one (1) month following your viewing date. After one (1) month, all images will be purged from DLB Photography’s hard- drive, except as needed for promotional purposes, to be determined by DLB Photography at DLB Photography’s sole discretion.
DLB Photography is not responsible for loss or damage to the digital files due to circumstances beyond DLB Photography’s control.
Usage
You grant DLB Photography permission to use the images (or variations of the images) from your session(s) for publication in advertising materials, websites, blogs, portfolios, displays, or other promotional methods for DLB Photography without compensation for such. DLB Photography will not sell these images to any third party without additional consent from you.
Liability
DLB Photography is not responsible for any injuries inflicted upon any participating parties. You will be responsible for your children and for yourself and release DLB Photography from any claims against their person or their business.
Copyright
DLB Photography retains all copyrights to all images created during your session, but shall grant a non-exclusive license to you to reproduce the purchased images. A print release will be provided with the purchased digital files to print portraits (up to an 8×10 size). The print release does not allow selling or altering of your images without the photographer’s written permission. It is illegal to copy, scan, download, print, share, alter, or otherwise steal any image created by DLB Photography during your photo session. This applies to “sneak peek” images, images posted in an online proofing gallery, blog, Facebook, or hard copy images. If you steal images via any method listed above, or any other method, you will be invoiced for the cost of EACH digital image stolen, at DLB Photography’s current price per digital file.
